Spring is in the air and that means the Greater Frisco Home & Garden Show is back for its 5th Anniversary! This popular event returns to the Ford Center at The Star this coming weekend – April 5th-7th and admission is FREE!
There is nothing like spring weather to make you look at your yard and see all the possibilities. Not sure where to start? Luckily, the Home & Garden Show has you covered! Be sure and check out the Big Bloom Plant Sale – featuring over 8,000 square feet of trees, plants, outdoor living, turf, garden supply and flower sales. You can shop from over eight local nurseries and leave the show with all the plants and trees you need for your yard! They will have palm trees, evergreens, citrus & fruit trees, ground cover, crepe myrtles, cactus & succulents, agave, flats of flowers, hanging plants and more!
If you are looking for some advice and instruction, make time to check out the seminars at The Garden Stage. You will find seminars from Garden Experts on topics such as “Using Color in the Landscape”, “Terrarium Gardens” and “Gardening in The Shade”. This is a great opportunity to learn from the experts and give your yard the kick-start it needs.
Do not leave the kids at home – the show is a family-friendly event with activities for everyone! Enjoy the Triumph Roofing Kids Zone filled with FREE activities for your little ones. Enjoy Cooking Classes from Cook. Learn. Grow. where kids can learn to make Fruit Spring Rolls or Fruit Roll Ups. There will also be Cookie Decorating, Create Your Own Tile craft from The Home Depot, and a build and paint birdhouse crafts. You can also enjoy daily Live Birds of Prey shows by Blackland Prairie Raptor Center and younger kids can read to local Go Team Therapy Dogs!

Show hours are Friday, April 5 from 2PM-6PM, Saturday, April 6 from 10AM-6PM, and Sunday, April 7 from 11AM-5PM at the Ford Center at The Star. Make sure you don’t miss out on all the fun!
